A two loop system has been installed in March 2011 in the installations of ITC in the island of Gran Canaria. The nominal production is 3000 l/day.

The main characteristics of the installation are:

• 176 m² of solar collector
• 7  m³ deposit
• Brine cooler
• Pre-treatment: Cartridge filter
• Remineralisation and disinfection (UV lamp & Cu-Ag electrodes).

• Water management protocol: regular monitoring of water temperature, conductivity, PH, alkalinity, etc.
• Water intake: 35000 ppm
